Richie Culver

Richie Culver (b. 1979, Withernsea, Yorkshire, UK) lives and works in London.

Richie Culver is a multidisciplinary artist whose work moves across painting, sculpture, performance, and sound. Born in Hull and based in London, he studied Painting at the Royal College of Art, graduating with an MA. His practice engages with the poetics of language, materiality, and lived experience, bringing together text, image, gesture, and spatial intervention to explore the ways meaning is accumulated, carried, and transformed. Alongside his visual art practice, he operates as Quiet Husband, a project spanning experimental sound and performance. Recent collaborations have involved artists and musicians including Genesis P-Orridge, Billy Woods, Moor Mother, Blackhaine, and Mark Leckey.
